    Yes! A site inspection is required to assess access, soil requirements and any other aspect that could impact our quote.

  • Can Ryan's Turf prepare my area?

    Yes we certainly can! We can do as much or as little as you need, providing the area is accessible for our machines and is a minimum of 250m2.

  • How do I prepare my area and lay my turf?

    Spray out the area with a non-selective herbicide like 'Zero' following the directions on the packaging, then leave it 10 -14 days. Once the weeds and existing grass is dead, remove an inch or so of soil with the waste material to remove seeds laying in the top soil. Spread fresh organic compost at a depth of 50-100mm depending on the level you’re working with or trying to achieve. Broadcast our Turf Launcher fertiliser to encourage root establishment (a $15 tub will cover 200m2). Roll out fresh turf using a brick style pattern to stagger the joins. If you have a turf roller available, this helps to ensure good contact between the soil and the turf, but is not essential. Then water, water, water!
